Hailing from the Garden State, Justpassingthru boasts five multi-talented musicians: Mike Bossard (Mooki), Joe Gorgolione, Ron Leejack, Joey Dekker. The music of Justpassingthru vividly demonstrates those talents. The lyrics are honest and relevant, and reflect the band's commitment to their faith. Fronted by the contagiously energetic Mooki, Justpassingthru delivers a fresh rock sound with passionate, soulful vocals. Their unique mix makes Justpassingthru stand out in an industry teeming with follow-the-latest-trend bands.

Drummer Ron Leejack (son of Ron Leejack – guitarist of Gene Simmons' and Paul Stanley's pre-KISS band, Wicked Lester), grew up surrounded by rock's greatest musicians and together with bassist Joe Gorgolione (formerly of Three Crosses), the two lay a faultless foundation of rhythm and groove. Guitarist Joey Dekker (formerly of bands Damzils, Strutter, Distress) completes the lineup with extensive experience in every genre of music. Combined with their positive, high-energy stage show and driving sound, Justpassingthru connects with their audience in a very powerful way.

For several years the boys of Justpassingthru have performed concerts, youth events, rallies and fundraisers, evolving from a local garage band into a mature, modern rock group . A local paper wrote JPT is one of the best kept secrets in the NY metro music scene. Recently, the guys rocked out with Switchfoot at Rutgers University in front of 4,000 fans at Spring Blaze. And this past year, New York's Christian music station Star 99.1 invited them to be a part of their Autumn Blaze event at Continental Airlines Arena and a two-time Dove Award winning producer helped them to complete their latest release Call Me Red. The secret is out – and the boys of Justpassingthru have been thrown into a mysterious series of events that has everyone on edge anticipating what will happen next.

Justpassingthru's loyal fan base continues to grow in the tri-state area and beyond as they have been traveling and performing up and down the east coast and southern states. Audiences love their style: mainstream rock with pop sensibility and occasional hints of classic rock, funk & rap. Think Daughtry, Audioslave, Matchbox Twenty, Stone Temple Pilots, TobyMac, Fuel...and think again.

Their latest release Call Me Red is a figurative analogy based on the concept of the literary work, The Scarlet Letter. This classic Nathaniel Hawthorne novel is a well-known story. Lead singer, Mooki explains "The truth is that every human being who has graced the planet deserves a 'Scarlet Letter' because none of us are perfect and are all on the same journey. The songs written on this release are driven by the needs, hurts, longings and joys in the lives of people and relationships around us. We hope to communicate hope, encouragement and inspiration to everyone that hears them." Guitarist Joey Dekker adds "We are really proud of the songwriting and overall sound of Call Me Red and are excited to perform these songs for audiences across the country."

The message woven throughout the songs of Call Me Red begs the intimate question 'What is your letter?'. Mooki explains "Call Me Red is an expression that I am a real person in need of God's grace. This realization changes all behavior, it drops chains and guilt and unleashes tangible expressions of love."
