So you should be getting simple email telling you that you are on Justpassingthru's email list (you already know that). It also gives you the option to add additional info like you name, zip code, cell phone number/provider, etc... This info would be very helpful to us by giving us a way to send emails to the appropriate people (maybe someone in Norway may not be interested in last minute details for a gig in the Washington, DC area -- but there are definitely some people in DC that HAVE to know -- you get the picture (see Pic 4234763482734)).
